Ty has been playing sports for as long as any of us can remember. His determination and dedication as a child was unbelievable. He would spend hours outside by himself shooting baskets or throwing a ball against the wall. He has continued this dedication throughout his life, always striving to be better. He has a natural talent that cannot be taught. He plays baseball and basketball as well, but football has always been his love. He started out as a QB and was amazing at it. He has a natural ability to see the field and to make plays happen. But he never loved being QB; he wanted to be more in the action of the game. In 8th grade he played every position they would let him and he blew everyone away with his natural talent and versatility. As a freshman, Ty was handed down the jersey #1 because the varsity coach wanted the best upcoming athlete to wear that number on the varsity team. He will continue the tradition by handing down jersey #1 when he graduates in 2013. As a sophomore Ty played receiver as well as safety and cornerback for the Varsity team. As a junior, Ty played receiver, safety, and cornerback. As a senior, Ty played quarterback and safety. Ty has blown all of us away with his abilities. He is a fighter, a natural leader and he has the best heart. He cares about everyone out there on the field with him, especially his coaches.
